About Beth

Beth trained at the School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam. On returning to Britain, she has worked extensively as a choreographer and teacher. Her piece Throwing Stones was made in Lublijana and Leeds, in collaboration with Slovenian dance artist Jana Menger.

Beth has also worked as rehearsal director and choreographer for Leikin Loppu Theatre Company and was one of three choreographers nominated to attend the Hothouse Mentoring Project with Jonathan Burrows at The Place in August 2002. She is also a Yorkshire Dance Partner and has recently been developing company work under the name Cassanidance at Yorkshire Dance, which included the critically acclaimed Deepwater which performed last year.

Currently Beth is a recipient of regional arts funding and will be making a new male duet and a solo Wild Goose in Spring 2003 which will tour in the Autumn.
