The trustees have lodged an application with the Heritage Lottery Fund to create a ‘Living Archive’ of personal interviews with people who worked directly with Peter Darrell.
Peter Darrell, choreographer and director was a major force in the development of British dance history, but recognition of his importance and achievement is now being lost. Our project focuses on capturing and preserving his heritage through recording the memories, experiences and unique insight of fellow artists and colleagues.
The total cost of the project is £80,000 and we have applied for a grant of £50,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund. With donations already received towards the project to date we need to raise a further £20,000 in order for the work to go ahead.
We hope you might be interested in supporting this project. Any donation, no matter how big or small will be gratefully received and enable us to get one step closer to making the archive a reality.
Please make your donation by using the secure PayPay link below or by cheque made out to 'The Peter Darrell Award Trust' and send to Angela Petrie, Chairman at the address below.
